PROGRAMME
RESULT
Each water system requires a different control philosophy.
Programme selection considers make-up water, concentration, temperature, metallurgy, process duty and the consequence of deposition or corrosion.

Diagnose the mechanism before selecting the chemistry
The treatment programme must respond to the way the system fails—not merely to a laboratory value in isolation.
Scale
Mineral crystallisation can restrict flow and insulate heat-transfer surfaces. Control may combine pretreatment, pH management, inhibitors and crystal modifiers.
Fouling
Silt, corrosion products, process contamination and bio-deposits can accumulate on surfaces. Filtration, dispersants and surfactants form part of the response.
Corrosion
General, localised, galvanic and microbiologically influenced attack can shorten equipment life. Metallurgy, pH, gases and inhibitor residuals all matter.
Microbiology
Biofilm reduces heat transfer and can support under-deposit corrosion. Control combines system hygiene, monitoring and suitable oxidising or non-oxidising biocides.
One programme from diagnosis to routine operation
YWT India combines process engineering, application-specific chemical programmes and field support to improve system reliability, water efficiency and operating control.
Production and R&D partnership: YWT India works with Valient Biotech for chemical formulation, production, quality control and product-development support.
Application engineering supported by formulation and R&D
Protect heat transfer, water efficiency and equipment life
Treatment performance is judged by the condition of the operating system—not by chemical consumption alone.
A controlled route from diagnosis to optimisation
Establishing a reliable chemical programme
Can a chemical programme be selected only from a water-analysis report?
The analysis is essential but not sufficient. Equipment design, metallurgy, heat or steam load, residence time, operating temperature, cycles, dosing arrangement and present deposits or corrosion must also be considered.
Does YWT support dosing and monitoring?
The programme can include dosing-system review, control philosophy, analytical schedule, operating limits, trend review and recommendations for corrective action.
Can chemical use be reduced?
Possibly, but optimisation should protect performance. Changes in water quality, cycles, blowdown, recovery, dosing control and mechanical cleanliness may reduce total treatment cost more safely than simply lowering dose.
Are all products suitable for every plant?
No. Product and dose selection must be application-specific and confirmed against water chemistry, materials, operating conditions, regulatory needs and downstream impacts.
